Kedla is a small census and Nagar Panchayat town in Ramgarh District of Jharkhand state. The town is home to huge reservoir of coals and is hence one of the important coal mine belts in Jharkhand state. Administratively, Kedla falls in Mandu Block of Ramgarh District. Significant portion of Kedla’s local population is also engaged in farming activities.
